Ron Clark is the President of NFPT Strength & Fitness. Ron, a former US Marine, has been at the forefront of the fitness industry, shaping the profession of Personal Fitness Training for over 20 years. As the publisher of Personal Training Today, what excites Ron most about training is the education. “The biggest obstacle en route to fitness is not knowing how and why,” Ron says, “and knowing about your body helps you make the best fitness decisions.” Education equips Ron’s clients for fitness success. Ron has been certifying Fitness Professionals through the National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) for 25 years. Today, over 18,000 are presently certified! He has also authored fitness articles for a wide variety of publications on the science behind physical fitness.

Mitch Barker is the General Manager at NFPT Strength & Fitness. Mitch has always been passionate about health and fitness. He has been training clients in Lafayette as an NFPT certified fitness professional. When he’s training, Mitch says, “I like to be encouraging and motivating, but we’ll also get down to business.” His duties at NFPT Strength & Fitness include daily operations, client scheduling, screening and data collection. Mitch's clients have nothing but great things to say about him, and he is well-deserving of the praise. Among his clients, Mitch boasts a husband and wife client team who have lost over 200 collective pounds!

Clay Maxfield is a strength and fitness professional majoring in kinesiology. His goals while working with NFPT Strength and Fitness are to not only apply his knowledge of personal training but more importantly to meet, achieve, and go beyond any and all goals his clients may have. Hope Davey is a personal trainer at NFPT. She is passionate about the world of fitness, and loves keeping sessions fresh for her clients. Although she values the foundations of strength and cardiovascular training, her excitement for continuing education translates into a steady stream of variations that will keep your heart pumping and your spirits high. Hope enjoys helping people reach their fat loss goals, but especially likes working with clients who are looking to gain strength. Clayton Horn is a Purdue graduate with a degree in Personal Training. Clayton is a true fitness professional and is comfortable training you regardless of your goals. Clayton is known for implementing of a wide variety of exercises to keep it fresh and enjoyable. He takes your results seriously! Even if you have a history of minor injuries or you struggle with poor balance and stability Clayton can help. Whether you are young or old, athletic or overweight, Clayton can get you results. Blake Wade is passionate about strength training and bodybuilding. Blake earned his NFPT Personal Trainer Certification in 2011. He has met the rigorous national standards required of a fitness professional to work with anyone interested in improving his/her health and fitness. Blake qualifies to use NFPT Consultation Software in assessing and screening his clients to insure that the fitness program design is the most effective and safe. While Blake is qualified to work with any client regardless of their goal, he prefers to work with strength athletes and bodybuilders. Blake assists Mr. Clark in performing clinics on bodybuilding and strength training. Ask for Blake personally!

Teresa D. Clark is an inspirational, motivational fitness professional. She has professionally taught fitness classes in the community since 1997. Teresa is a Certified Group Exercise Instructor credentialed by AFAA. Teresa specializes in group fitness and holds her clients accountable for making an impact in their health. Her peppy, upbeat personality encourages her clients in all group fitness classes! She also appreciates the mind-body connection in achieving wellness, particularly in yoga.
